The Sargent Shriver National Center on Poverty Law is a national law and policy center that takes action to end poverty through policy development, communications, and impact litigation. LexisNexis supports the Shriver Center by donating use of NetDocuments® from LexisNexis®, a solution that will help the center manage its legal documents and communications while keeping them secure and accessible. In 2007, the Shriver Center marked its 40th anniversary with a dinner saluting the hundreds of thousands of Americans who have contributed greatly to the cause of ending poverty in the United States. LexisNexis was the presenting sponsor of the event, at which we were honored for our contribution of the NetDocuments service. Our relationship with the Shriver Center is a good illustration of the LexisNexis philosophy toward corporate responsibility. We seek opportunities where we can deploy all of our resources in combination to maximize the impact of our outreach efforts: financial contributions, our solutions, our relationships with other organizations and the skills of our employees who donate their time and expertise through volunteerism and pro bono work.
